What do you do when the wind's on the nose and the waves are coming straight at you? Duck into the nearest sheltered anchorage, of course. And if luck's on your side, there'll be a welcoming dive resort with outstanding reefs right there on the doorstep. Thanks to everyone (especially Andres, top guide/instructor) from @tompotika_divelodge for making this a serendipitous interruption on our journey south. Link to 306 in bio...Overnight sailing in southeast Asia is particularly challenging, not least because the waters are full of obstacles that you can't see in the dark. Like logs.During this passage, we left in thunder and lightning and sailed for 150 miles across a shipping lane in ever-changing winds.
