Fiona:

We stayed put for the day so we could explore the delights of Gümüslük. We walked to Rabbit island over the causeway and the boys proved just how macho they are by diving in to the sea off the rocks and swimming in the "washing machine waves" sea water.

After lunch at a little restaurant by the shore we headed up to the hill on the other side of the bay, where we sat at the top and admired the beautiful views around the bay and across to Kos. We could see Esper anchored up with the other boats looking splendid. It was here that we each developed our "I like it up here" song with accompanying dance.

Back at the boat there was just time for more swimming and diving off the boat. LJF and RPL earned themselves a bottle of wine by scraping Barnacles off Barrys propeller and I learnt from him just how impressed people are with Oyster boats. I mean I thought it was a lovely boat but what do I know?

The evening involved sundowners of Vodka, homemade lemonade and poppy juice at Limon Cafe and more gazing at beautiful views, the sun setting, stars and the waitress!

Taking it all in

We were back on the boat by 10pm talking of a night sail (just to fool the pirates in case they were still on our trail). This was only ever going to be talk as we did not wake until 10 am the next morning. All that swimming and walking tires you out.
