Fresh Lemon Vodka…..mmmmmmmmmmm!

Written by Jamie whilst in Bodrum Marina, Turkey

Taç was so taken with sailing that she decided she’d join me on a gentle cruise up the coast to Gümüslük, where we stayed at anchor for four days, so in terms of log entry there is little to say on the sailing side of things since the winds were light and I reefed all sail area just to stay on the safe side.

It turns out, however, that Gümüslük is Taç’s favourite holiday location since she visited it often throughout her childhood. She was on first-name terms with Gurktan and introduced me to the Limon Cafe. Perhaps I shouldn’t mention it but the Limon Cafe is one of the most beautiful spots in the Bodrum peninsular and the whole point of visiting it is to take in the fantastic views of the sunset across the Greek islands, all whilst sipping fresh lemon vodka cocktails! Once the sun has gone down it’s time to play ‘who can spot the most shooting stars’. A magical place where the quality of food matches the ambiance of the location.
